In Good Hands Speech Therapy Clinic Policy
APPOINTMENTS
We see patients by appointment only. During all appointment visits, we will allow for only one parent, guardian, or family member to accompany the patient into the therapy room. For young children with siblings, we will only allow for one other sibling to accompany the parent and patient if there are no interruptions and distractions to ensure a successful therapy session.
ATTENDANCE
Attendance, punctuality, and participation in therapy are essential for therapeutic success.
While In Good Hands Speech Therapy understands that illnesses and emergencies occur, we respectfully request that you avoid frequent cancellations or "no shows". Please adhere to our following policy regarding providing our office with advance notification for any cancellations resulting from a conflicting appointment, vacation, obligations for work or family, or any other event.

​All cancellations must be submitted at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. You are allowed to cancel two times with at least 24 hours prior notice. The office will reserve the right to cancel all pending appointments following any further cancellations. If you are planning to go on vacation, we will try to reserve your appointment day and time for up to 3 weeks.
If you fail to appear for an appointment (no show) without providing the appropriate advance notification, the office will reserve the right to cancel all pending appointments and possibly no longer offer services to you as a client.
If you are 10 minutes late for an initial or re-evaluation, this will result in immediate cancellation of appointment and the office will reserve the right to reschedule your evaluation to a later day and time. If you arrive late for a scheduled treatment appointment, the session will still end at the scheduled time.
We regret having to institute this policy and appreciate your understanding in this manner.
